Boy seriously injured after stepping in front of car

A teenage boy has been seriously injured after he was hit by a car last night.
The 15-year-old Roebourne local was walking along Point Samson-Roebourne Road at 8.30pm last night when he stepped in front a Holden Commodore, possibly in an attempt to flag down the car for a lift.
The 29-year-old driver stopped and administered first aid, before the boy was taken to Nickol Bay Hospital.
He was transferred to RPH as his injuries were considered life threatening.
Pilbara police will investigate the crash.
