Another French restaurant on the list comes with a view of vineyards - Auberge du Soleil Restaurant in Napa Valley. Set on an olive grove, this Four-Star restaurant has a terrace and Mediterranean-influenced cuisine that incorporates regional produce and local ingredients.
Or, of course, there's the Le Jules Verne, located inside the Eiffel Tower.
For sea views, make a reservation at La Chèvre d’Or - carved into the cliffs of the medieval village of Eze in the French Riviera. The town of St. Jean Cap Du Ferrat sits to your right and the sparkling Mediterranean is straight ahead.
Dinner at Ithaa Undersea Restaurant in the Maldives takes waterfront dining to a whole new level - the restaurant claims to be the world’s first all-glass underwater eatery. You’ll dine five metres below the surface of the Indian Ocean, with 180-degree views of the fish, moray eels and stingrays gliding around the capsule.
There's also the GB Roof Garden at Athens' Hotel Grande Bretagne, Couloir, which rests at the summit of Jackson Hole's Bridger Gondola, and the Cavas Wine Lodge in the Andes Mountains.
