Dead woman found in billionaire's mansion

POLICE are investigating the death of a woman found inside prominent Western Australian businessman Alan Bond's Cottesloe mansion.

Police were called about 11.30am amid reports of a death at the house in prestigious Hawkstone St near the Cottesloe beachfront.

The house is owned by Fairoak Pty Ltd and residents in the street said Mr Bond and his wife Diana Bliss were living at the property.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Two police are at the scene as officers conduct initial investigations.

They have said the woman was 57-years-old, which is the same age as Ms Bliss, but refused to confirm whether or not the deceased woman is Ms Bliss.
