GOOGLE is moving into new offices in the Sydney suburb or Pyrmont and it's taking the Sydney Monorail with it.
Yes, the Monorail which took its final trip around Sydney on June 30, after 25 years in operation, will be parked on level two of Google's new offices, The AFR revealed.
The two carriages of the monorail will be used as meeting rooms. The facade of the building will have to be taken apart in order to get the damn things in.
No doubt that's going to be a fun day for Pyrmont commuters who will more than likely have to contend with cranes and trucks and other heavy machinery blocking the road while Google christens its new offices with our old monorail.
