Govt keeps nuclear reactor options open
8:01 PM February 28

The Federal Government has refused to rule out taking some power from the states so nuclear reactors can be built.

The head of the Government's nuclear inquiry, Ziggy Switkowski, says the Commonwealth would have to take over planning control.

The Industry Minister Ian Macfarlane says the Government has not yet responded to the Switkowski inquiry.
