The company that will provide pipes for the 'Goldfields Superpipe' has refused to buy into a debate on how the project will be funded.
Tyco International has been awarded a $35 million contract to provide pipes for a 85 kilometre pipeline between Bendigo and Ballarat.
The project will cost $180 million in total, but the Federal Government is yet to agree to contribute its $90 million share.
Tyco has refused to comment on what would happen if the Commonwealth refuses to fund the project. Source: ABC
