GRAVES have been defaced in St Saviour's Cemetery, Glen Osmond.
Police say vandals tried to dislodge crosses on 10 plots between Saturday (June 16) and Monday (June 18), causing about $10,000 damage, the Eastern Courier Messenger reports.
The 1400 graves at the Glebe Rd cemetery date back to the late 1850s, when the church was built on land donated by colonial pioneer and treasurer Osmond Gilles.
