A woman who allegedly tried to disguise a stash of ecstasy pills by putting them in bags of pepper has been thwarted by police and arrested at a Sydney dance party.
THE 19-year-old was one of two people charged after allegedly being found with a total of 284 ecstasy tablets at the Prophecy Dance Party at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday night.
Police say they searched the woman after she was sniffed out by a drug detection dog.
They say they found 101 pills and a brown grainy substance that turned out to be pepper. They will allege she was using the pepper to try to mask the scent of the drugs.
In the second arrest, police say they found a 19-year-old man with 183 ecstasy pills.
In total the drugs have an estimated street value of more than $7000.
The man and woman were both expected to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
