BRIAN McFadden's ex-wife Kerry Katona is furious after the former Westlife star said he had "no idea what he was doing" when he married her in 2002.
In an interview accompanying his wedding photos to new bride Vogue Williams, McFadden suggested to Hello! magazine that he regretted marrying the mother of his two children.
"This is me getting married for the rest of my life - and a completely different life," he told Hello!
McFadden couldn't even remember how old he was when he married Katona, telling the mag he was "18 or 19" when the pair wed, when in fact he was 22.
"I was 18 or 19 when I got married the first time. I was in Westlife. I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn't till I was 30 that I turned into an adult."
But Katona hit back at her former husband, furious he had dismissed their marriage.
''I will never let anyone take away my first marriage not even my ex husband!" Katona wrote on Twitter.
"We may have been young but I knew full well what I was doing!!! And never in a million years would I ever dismiss it, especially bringing two amazing children into it... Love mummy xxx.
Before adding: "Just want my children to know there were made with love and no regrets #eyeswideopen."
McFadden and Katona were divorced eight years ago.
The Australia's Got Talent and DJ model Vogue Williams married on the weekend in Tuscany Italy.
