DAZZLING in a diamante jumpsuit, stealing the Closing Ceremony show alongside her Spice Girls "sisters," this time last week Mel B was literally on top of the world.
Tooling about the London Games stadium on the roof of an iconic black cab, Scary Spice admits it was the ride of her life.
But The X Factor judge has come back down to earth with a thud, sustaining facial scars and swelling after a romantic mini-break mishap in a pair of her signature sky high heels.
A post-Olympics weekend in Prague with husband Stephen Belafonte turned into a Funniest Home Video moment, when the TV star fell making a "tipsy" dash for the couple's room, falling in a heap in a hotel corridor.
"I wish I'd seen the security footage because I bounced off the wall, slid down it, then ate the floor," she said, sporting a left cheek of carpet burns to prove it.
"I've never done that before, ever, ever, ever, it was so embarrassing. I thought I'd broken my jaw, then I thought I'd never be able to talk again, wondering if it would go back to normal," the diva joked.
Still, the accident has done nothing to dent the 37-year-old's enthusiasm, juggling daughter Maddison and X Factor publicity duties yesterday, all in nine-inch designer stilletos.
Settling back into Sydney life with her husband and three daughters, Brown remains on a high from the Spice Girls Games spectacular.
"We rehearsed for two weeks privately and we all had our kids with us. So between vocal lessons, we were changing diapers and feeding each other's kids. It was a really nice bonding experience. There's nothing better than getting up on stage with ya mates."
