Quake hits off New Zealand's Bay of Plenty

A DEEP-CENTRED 5.1 quake has been recorded off New Zealand's Bay of Plenty coast.
The quake, centred 210km deep, struck about 70km northeast of Tauranga at 2.34pm (12.34pm AEDT), GNS Science says.
It described the quake as "very deep", and had not received any reports of it being felt.
