'That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.' With these words Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon. He must have thought long and hard about what he was going to say. It is, depending on how you care to look at it, either a terrible omission or a chillingly prophetic slip that caused him use such a masculine form of wording for, to this day, no woman has stepped on the moon.
