Part of the functionality in DeepGuard is an improved relationship between the existing Application Control functionality that prompts you to approve each application accessing the Internet. The improvement means that you don't get any additional Application Control prompts for the applications that DeepGuard has recognized as safe.

Improved product upgrades

Security Suite 2008 requires a full installation but improvements to way the software is updated means that subsequent yearly releases will not require the full installation package to be downloaded. Instead only changed parts are downloaded making use of network bandwidth significantly lower and download time smaller.
