Optus Supplied Modems

These modems were selected for their use of the latest ADSL technologies and their ability to provide a reliable Internet connection. They feature both USB and Ethernet ports and plug-and-play USB installation.

If you are using one of these modems the Optus DSL Broadband self-installation CD will automatically install all the software and settings you need to access the service. If you think your settings have been altered we recommend that you re-run the self-installation CD.

It is also possible (though not recommended) to manually set up your modem. This can be done using a web browser to access the management software embedded in the modem. However, if you have followed the instructions on the self-installation CD you do not need to manually configure your modem.
