What is Disney Connection?
Disney Connection is a site created specifically for Optus broadband customers. Brought to you by Walt Disney Internet Group Australia, it provides a rich content experience including interactive games, music, animation shorts and much more.
What age group is Disney Connection aimed at?
Disney connection is designed for Australian children and families, and contains a wide range of content, suitable for all ages.
Can Disney Connection be accessed overseas?
The service can only be accessed in Australia.
How much does it cost?
Access to Disney Connection is free to Optus broadband customers.
What computer setting are required for Disney Connection?
OS: Windows 2000 / Windows XP Home / Professional Edition
CPU: Intel (R) Celeron (R) 500MHz and above or equivalent
Memory: 256MBRAM and above

What is a Plug-in?
Plug-ins expand the capacity of your browser. Disney Connection uses Plug-in Software to enhance your content experience by allowing you to stream music and movies.
What is Flash Player? What is Shockwave Player? What is Windows Media Player?
Flash Player and Shockwave Player are software products from Macromedia that enable viewing of multimedia content. Windows Media Player is a software product from Microsoft that enables streaming and downloading of music and movies. These plug-ins are provided to optimise the Disney Connection experience.

How do I change the volume of a movie or music?
You can change the volume of music or movies in two ways. Either change your speaker volume or adjust the sound setting bar within the Disney Connection site.
Can I adjust movies while playing?
You can play and stop the movie you are watching at any time. You are also able to skip ahead of the next song or piece of music. You are not able to fast forward or rewind.
How do I change the size of the movie?
If you want to change to full screen, click on the "full screen" button. If you want to make this small again, double click on the play screen.
What is the difference between playing movies at maximum quality and normal quality?
To allow you to view movies at the maximum capacity of your computer and bandwidth speed, you have a choice between high quality and low quality. You can change the quality by clicking on the high quality and low quality button. The low quality setting is optimised for 512k bandwidth, and the high quality setting is optimised for 1500k bandwidth connections.
What do the different film classifications mean?
Australian films must be classified before they are shown to the public. Classification symbols are assigned to films by the Office of Film and Literature Classification board. Each symbol has a different meaning as outlined below:

How do I customise my Disney Connection site?
Simply click on the "my Disney" button which can be found on the top right of the homepage. This will take you to a page where you can select and change themes and mini-game content.
What content requires me to log in?
As an Optus subscriber, you don't need to log in to view content, but you will need to log in to enter Disney competitions.
What do I do if I want to change my password?
Follow these steps to change your password:
- Go to Member Services. Login with your current Optus Internet username and password and then click the Login button.
- Carefully read the instructions regarding changing your password then towards the bottom of the web page, enter the new password you want to use.
- Re-enter the new password in the second box to confirm the password you now want to use.
- Click the "Next" button. Your new password will now replace the old one.
How do I access Disney content?
You can access Disney content from a number of different places on myZOO, but we suggest you use the link in the header on the homepage.
How do I track my usage of Disney services?
You can track your usage of all Optus provided services via the Internet Usage Meter, which is a usage monitoring tool, provided to allow you to manage your usage of your Optus Internet Service. It allows you to view how many megabytes (MB) of data you have used relative to your plan's monthly Data Allowance. Our systems update the Internet Usage Meter at regular intervals (at least every 15 minutes).
How do I access Disney from a dial-up connection? I am a broadband customer but can't see it
If you are a broadband customer, you can access the Disney service from a dial-up connection in the same way as the broadband connection, but as the Disney service is configured for broadband, there may be some reduction in the quality.
Do you share my private information with Disney?
No, none of your information will be shared with Disney. As all account checks are done by Optus, we don't need to pass any of your information to Disney.
How do I access Disney mobile content?
On your handset, go to Zoo > Disney . If you experience any difficulty go to read more about Zoo on your Mobile.
